I've had the honor to work on University of Southern California's Advanced Game Projects project "Detour Bus" (2020-2021) as a 3D Artist, it's a casual VR game where players build ridiculous winding highways around themselves to take the dysfunctional Flowers family on a road trip across Post-Infrastructure America. Get in the construction groove to take on corrupt Senator Joseph McCarthief’s attempts to turn all freeways into pay-to-drive tunnels and reclaim your right to transportation. For more information, please check out the official Detour Bus website: https://www.detourbus.com/
Before our art team settled down on the final design of the in-game FBI Armored Truck, I've made a different version that is directly based on real life armored trucks from the 1960s to fit the game's period, this idea was later changed to better fit the game's lore. The final version of the truck (which you can also find in my portfolio) used this original version as the base and having the truck's body completely reworked to suit Senator Joseph's style. Both vertex painting and texturing were used and verts kept at around 3,000. This model does not appear in the final game.
