This War Of Mine (Censored Version)

This illustration started its life as an experimental concept art for combining 3D render with Photoshop editing techniques into one fun project. Inspired by imageries from my own nightmares as well as hit songs from the Dutch symphonic metal band Within Temptation such as "The Reckoning", "Bleed Out", "Raise Your Banner" and "Entertain You", it is a reflective visualization of a metaphorical, personal war I've fought for pretty much the entirety of my 20s by far, as well as a personal love letter to one of my favorite bands; additionally, it also serves as a reflection of my own guilt for not being able to stop certain things before it went for the worse.
